| Invitation for Submission The Board and Care Quality Forum welcomes the submission of articles by interested authors. Articles which are invited include the following: health and caregiving articles; facility business and management articles; summaries of relevant practical research in the are of aging, health, mental health, and board and care; reports on innovative regional or statewide programs relating to board and care home residents, owners, and/or facilities (such a advocacy, regulation, services, and funding); analysis of local, state and/or federal policies as they affect board and care home development, operation, and resident well-being; any other topics which will promote the health and well-being of the residents of board and care homes. Potential authors are asked to submit a brief summary of the nature of the piece which they would like to write, a one-page outline of article content, and a brief statement giving the author’s name, address, professional affiliation, telephone and Fax numbers, email address and a summary of professional experience in the article area. Proposed articles will be considered based on the extent to which the topic promotes quality caregiving within board and care homes and quality of life for residents, and on the relevance of the topic to board and care home operators, and staff, and to other interested professionals. All proposals for articles should be submitted to the Board and care Quality Forum, ATTENTION: Editor, 1728 Holly Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15216. Authors will be contacted within two weeks of receipt of the requested information. The Board and Care Quality Forum also welcomes ideas for future articles, suggestions of possible authors, names of persons to be interviewed for the “Quality Perspectives” section, and questions for the Home Operator Idea Exchange.
